Currently Listening
The Mission Bell
By Delirious?

Delirous?

Last night I got to see Delirious? for the third time.  They are so awesome in concert. They put on a great show plus they lead you right into the presence of God.  Good balance of a great performance but not showing out to much and giving God the glory.  Their leader singer, Martin Smith, is so aware of the Spirit's presence and just seems to reflect Christ through out the whole show.  It was exactly what I needed last night.   I've decided that they have to be in my top 5 of all time favorite bands.  Even if you don't know or like their music they are worth seeing live.

KU One Victory away

In an article I was reading somebody gave this link for this video.  This guy is totally wierd. I can't tell if he's just acting or if this is just who he is.   But I love this song from Rocky and this guy's rendition of it is pretty funny.

Hope you enjoy

KU survived Southern Illinois last night and plays UCLA for a spot in Final Four tomorrow.  GO HAWKS!!!

Colorado Here We Come

3 more days and Angie and I are leaving for a ski trip to Colorado.   We will be gone without the kids for 4 days.  Yea!!!!  We are staying at a great place in Breckenridge provided by a connection to World Impact.  Should be fun.  We are praying our kids don't get sick before, so we can go.

We are finally feeling settled in our house.  We are hosting our first big party on Sunday for the Super Bowl.

Below our a couple of pics from our recent snow storm. We've had ice or snow on the group for 3 weeks now. Longest stretch I can ever remember.

Our Move

We are excited to be in our new house.  I will post a couple of pics from our move and you can see the snow we enjoyed while we moved.

The first night we were feeling so relaxed in our new house and so grateful for the houes.  Bree had been sick previously but we thought she was better.  So at 4:00 in the morning of our first night, we woke up to her throwing up. As we were using our shower for the first time, I went downstairs to start laundry and we realized that our sewer was backed up.  So that added more drama to our evening.  But we have taken care of that problem and are so grateful for all of the help that we have received.

Now that we have moved, we've realized that Christmas is just two weeks away!!

We have lots of different ministry events coming up that you can pray for.  Several Christmas events with our church, then right after Christmas I will be in St. Louis for Urbana, and then when we come back leading a class for Tabor College.

Moving Week

We are finally moving to our new house.  It's been a long fall getting everything ready in the house but it is mostly ready.  We still have some stuff to do in the house but hopefully it will get done this week, then we will be packed up and ready to move on Saturday. We have been in Oaklawn for 6 1/2 years, so it will be definitely sad to move out of this area of Wichita.

Besides moving this week, it seems like 1000 other things are piling up and needing to get done now.  So Angie and are officially feeling a little overwhelmed.

But we are excited for the Christmas season and the anticipation of Jesus our King's return someday.

I guess that's all I'll write for now.
